I. Preparations Before Operation

RF Admittance Level Sensor

Before you start operating the Soway RF Admittance Level Sensor, please ensure that you have carefully read and understood all the contents of the user manual. Here are the items that need to be prepared before operation:

Check the Completeness of the Equipment: Ensure that the sensor and its accessories (such as probes, cables, power adapters, etc.) are all present and undamaged.

Confirm the Installation Environment: Check whether the installation location meets the operating temperature range of the sensor (Integrated probe: -40℃ to 85℃; Split probe: -55℃ to 200℃), and ensure that the installation location is away from strong electromagnetic interference sources.

Power Supply Check: Confirm whether the power supply voltage meets the power requirements of the sensor (9-36V DC), and ensure that the power supply is stable and reliable.

II. Safety Tips for Operation

To ensure the safety of the operators and the normal operation of the equipment, please follow the safety tips below:

Electrical Safety:

Before making any electrical connections or disconnections, be sure to cut off the power supply.

Ensure that all electrical connections comply with local electrical safety standards and are carried out by qualified electricians.

Avoid performing electrical operations in damp or wet environments to prevent electric shock accidents.

Personal Protection:

It is recommended to wear appropriate personal protective equipment during the operation, such as insulated gloves and safety glasses.

If you are performing installation or maintenance operations at a height, be sure to use safety belts or other safety equipment.

Environmental Safety:

When using the sensor in flammable or explosive environments, it is essential to ensure that the equipment meets the corresponding explosion-proof standards.

Avoid using open flames or spark-generating devices near the sensor to prevent fires or explosions.

III. Operating Precautions

To ensure the accurate measurement and long-term stable operation of the Soway RF Admittance Level Sensor, please follow the operating precautions below:

Installation Precautions:

Ensure that the sensor's probe is installed in a suitable measurement position, avoiding contact with the container walls or other objects to prevent measurement errors.

During installation, ensure that the probe's connections are secure and reliable to avoid measurement errors caused by loosening.

If using a split probe, ensure that the connection cable between the probe and the sensor body is in good condition and avoid mechanical damage or chemical corrosion to the cable.

Calibration and Settings:

It is recommended to calibrate the sensor on-site for accurate measurement when using it for the first time or changing the measurement medium. The calibration process should be carried out according to the instructions in the user manual.

Set the sensor's measurement range, zero point, and full-scale parameters according to actual measurement requirements. Ensure that the settings are correct to avoid measurement errors or equipment malfunctions caused by incorrect settings.

Operation Monitoring:

During equipment operation, regularly check whether the sensor's output signal is normal to ensure the accuracy of the measurement data.

If the sensor's output signal is abnormal or the measurement accuracy decreases, stop the machine in time for inspection and troubleshooting before continuing to use it.

Regularly check whether the sensor's probe has dirt or buildup. If necessary, clean it in time to ensure the normal operation of the sensor.
